Evrsoft - superb HTML editor, packed full of useful tools & features, including DHTML, Perl, CGI & Java scripts. Customisable interface, depending on your level of ability, this is a piece of software you cannot do without if you are a serious web designer on a budget. FREE to download from their site, no payment or registration whatsoever, free to use for as long as you wish! Highly recommended.
Metty 1.31 - takes the hassle out of creating your meta tags. Provide the necessary information and Metty will generate the Meta tags for you. Free to download from Tucows.com.
Another site that is an absolute must is Bravenet. They have a host of free and paid-for resources, such as forums and chat rooms, guest books, mailing lists, forms, etc, etc.
Web Promotion
EZTraffic - generates a pop-under advertisement. Can increase your traffic by linking back to you.
Web Submission
Net2FTP - Free online FTP access. Upload your web pages online. The advantage of these sites is that they enable you to upload Zip files, which they then unpack and upload to your server.
